Opinel N°08 Outdoor Earth / Red is a specialised outdoor version of the classic N°08, designed for hiking, mountains, camping, sailing and other activities in nature.
The model combines an 8.5 cm martensitic stainless-steel blade, reinforced polymer handle, 3.5 cm serrated section, integrated shackle key and a powerful 110 dB all-weather whistle.
N°08 Outdoor Earth / Red is not simply a colour variation of the standard N°08. Its construction is specifically adapted for outdoor use with a stronger blade, serrated section, reinforced handle, signalling whistle and integrated shackle key.
Martensitic stainless steel with high corrosion resistance and an officially specified hardness of 55–57 HRC.
A 3.5 cm blade section is serrated for effective cutting of natural and synthetic ropes.
Pea-less all-weather whistle integrated directly into the end of the handle.
